Camping AF Canyon

We usually go camping once during the summer with everyone.  Due to scheduling availabilities, and the summer coming to a close, we were not able to have everything there.  :-(  Marissa and Matt were camping for Matt's family union...so they were camping.....just not with us. ha ha

We went up American Fork canyon to where we went last year.  It's a good spot, close to the reservoir, easy to get to and quiet. We spent 2 nights there and had a great time.

Cooking the tin foil dinners that Meghan made... yum!

Anne loved her some marshmellows!

Yep..it's been the summer of boots and crutches

Hannah and Noah made some very yummy popcorn!

The next day we headed early, to Tibble Fork reservoir.  Knowing from experience, it's going to get very crowded, very fast and there isn't much shoreline

Nothing motorized is allowed on the water, so everyone brings their paddle boards

We stayed a few hours and by the time we left, people were just waiting for spots..ours was taken in about 4.667 seconds

Back at the campsite, we went for a little walk.  We found a "sitting area" in extremely very excessively cold water.  Jacob was like, "it can't be that cold...it's just melted snow"  He could put his feet in for about 6.845 seconds

Very hot and very good coals for marshmallows

We had a great camping trip!  The only thing that would have made it better was to have Marissa/Matt with us!
