1st Hike of the year

Saturday was such perfect weather!  We wanted to get out and just do a quick hike, so we headed up to Battle Creek Falls - close and super short hike - only .6 miles each way, to a pretty good waterfall.

We hadn't done this hike in a few years so it was time again.  It was good!  Super busy though - this is a very popular hike.

Of course he had to swing on the old, dry, brittle and dead branch.  Because he's so light, it didn't break!
