'The true man in your life that is there for you. Your Dad loves you, comforts you, supports you and helps you.'
That definitely is true about my dad. Today his time on earth suddenly came to a quick end. Everything happened in a span of about 5 days and was unexpected. Life has a way of doing that to us. Dad is now with this other family - his brothers and sister, parents, and many other loved ones.
A simple blog post and some photos cannot even come close to conveying everything about my dad and that all that he is, was and will become. But it's something I can share.

Ever since moving to Lehi, (almost 5 years ago), Dad went walking every day, sometimes 2-3 hours. During his walk, he would pick up garbage around his neighborhood. He was always amazed that he could bring back a full bag of garbage every day. All the neighbors and all the store owners around the area knew him as the "man with the little white dog who picked up trash".
Someone nearby, wanted to do a video project about community service, and they immediately thought about dad. They followed him around during one of his walks for 2 hours!! This video is 8 minutes of that walk:

We can take comfort in knowing that families are forever and we will see dad again soon.......maybe not too soon.....but soon.
