Tubing

We went tubing a few years ago during Covid, and it was very fun!

Not sure what happened that we didn't do it last year, but we did do it this year!  With all the record snow fall, the season lasted longer, but we still managed to go during the last week they were open!

It's the only official tubing place in Utah where you don't have to walk up the hill each time or bring your own tubes.  Soldier Hollow (which was one of the 2002 Olympic venues) is where you go for this.

At first glance, any one of the 6 runs looks very small, not steep or fast at all.  But when you're on the tube going down, it's fast with bumps and small hills.

We got there at 6pm so still a little sunny, but around 7 when the sun went behind the mountain, it got cold and very icy. So icy, they wouldn't let us go down in groups more than 2 (they usually let you go in any amount of people at the same time), because the runs were very icy and very FAST!
