Just a quick video today.
This is one of our family favorites.
We hope it quickly becomes one of your favorites too!

A few Saturday’s ago (7/11) we found out that the IMAX theater in Downtown Sac was having a free movie every hour in celebration of their 10th Birthday! It was first come first serve, so we headed out at 9am to get tickets for the 10am show.
The movie was so good! It was about the “wild” things people do in California. Water Surfing, Sky Surfing, Painting the Golden Gate Bridge, and stuff like that. It was an excellent movie! Reminded us of the movie at California Adventure (Disneyland) “Soarin’ Over California”
Jacob found some play items while we were waiting in line. It was a statue that was surrounded by a fountain in the middle of the road. Made a great climbing structure!
Meghan and Jacob entertained themselves while we were waiting in line.
Here is a small sample of “Sky Surfing” – where they jump out of a plane and have a snowboard attached to their feet. (This little clip is nothing like it is on an Imax screen!)

After the movie, we went to a nearby park and looked at the Rose Garden and fed the ducks, and watched the homeless guys feeding the ducks.
I saw these very tall palm trees. They were so tall! Taller than any other trees!
On the way home, we stopped in at 7-11 to get free slurpees, as since the date was 7/11 they had free slurpees today!
Ok, so it’s not Bob the Builder, but Hannah and Jacob the Builder(s)!
Every Saturday at Lowes, and once a month at Home Depot, they have free kids crafts that Jacob has been doing, and Hannah wanted to get involved too.
They get special pins that they pin on their aprons for every item they build.
This week it was a pirate ship. After they built it at the store, they wanted to come home and paint it.
They had a great time! Then they floated their boats in the bath tub and they really worked!
When Meghan and Marissa saw the fun things they were building, they said they wanted to go next time. We will see!
