Over the past years, we've established a tradition (or ritual) of having a family reunion, and we've usually had them in St. George. Our family is getting bigger, but we still managed to have one this year in May. We get an Airbnb and all stay there, and visit pools, do some hikes and play games and have fun together.
On the way down, we stopped at Dino Cliffs Tracks - which a small trail off a dirt road where you can supposedly see some preserved dinosaur tracks (footprints). There is a slate rockface that has 17 tracks that have been fossilized.

We found the slate rock...we had to squint a bit to see the tracks, and we certainly didn't find 17 of them
We then headed to the Airbnb to pick out the best rooms.

One of the hikes we did was the Red Reef Hike, which is rated for families which is about 1 mile each way. It's through the red rocks with a stream in some parts and is beautiful!

Is this a petrified elephant truck? Could be.....

This part was a little challenging.....for some of us.....you had to use these footholds to go up and over this rockface. Luckily there was a rope to help

We spent some time at Gunlock Reservoir. Because of all the snow this winter, there was a lot of runoff and water was spilling over the rocks - which happens about once every 10 years! It was pretty amazing to see!

One evening, we headed to Snow Canyon overlook at sunset to take family photos. It was amazing. These photos don't do it justice.
