Happy Bday Meghan!

Meghan turned 17 in January!  Yep, you read that right, SEVENTEEN!  WOW!

We celebrated by going to Chili’s and Grandma and Grandpa Gwilliam were able to come with us too.

I even got to sneak a bite of her dessert.  Since it was my “good week” I could tolerate the cold ice cream. YUM!

Back at home, Meghan opened her presents and among other things, her favorite gifts were a book of some sort and a camera.

You can see in this pic that the book is already having an effect on Meghan! Look into her eyes!

Later during the month, Meghan had some friends over for a party with them and they played silly games, and ate silly food and watched silly movies.

In case you are wondering if something is missing, yes it is. Her “spanking train” video didn’t get posted because we had an accident during filming. Hannah somehow got caught between some spankings and hurt herself really bad. All filming stopped, and we have yet to redo the spanking train. Meghan thinks we forgot, but we didn’t.

 

Got Shoes?

Jacob and Hannah’s elementary school had a “Shoe Drive” today for slightly used (or new) shoes. They are going to ship the shoes to Haiti.

The upper graders, 4th & 5th grades, were invited to come to school early because the local news was going to be there to show all the shoes they collected.

I told Jacob to push his way in to the front to be on tv.  And he listened to his dad!

By the way, they collected over 1000 pairs of shoes!  That is awesome!

So Meghan had a real nice dance show before Christmas where she danced in several different dances.

She was surprised to see herself on the school website.  They should have at least offered to give her all A’s in her classes in exchange for using her pic.
