Welcome To Fall!

What a difference a week makes! Last Saturday it was still summer and 105 degrees! This Saturday, breezy, nice and only 73 degrees!

There was a small air show in Lincoln today, and we went a few years ago because they had free plane rides for kids 8-17, but Hannah and Jacob couldn’t go last time, and we went in the afternoon and waited 3 hours for the rides!  This year, we decided to go early, since Jacob’s soccer game wasn’t until 3 pm.

We got there around 8:30 and only had to wait a little over an hour.  The kids all got to ride and their rides were about 20 mins long.  They loved it!

We saw lots of planes and helicopters.  We had to leave before the actual “air show” of jets, and aerobatics, but we got what we came for – the free rides for the kids.

Here is Marissa, Jacob and Hannah and their pilot. For some reason, we didn’t get a photo of Meghan and her pilot.

Their plane only held 3 passengers, so Meghan had to go on the next plane, and it only held two. Meghan got to sit in the front, as did Marissa and they each got to “drive” the plane.  They wanted to go upside down, but they held back and didn’t do it.

Here is Marissa, Jacob’s and Hannah getting ready for take off:

And here is Meghan getting ready for take off:

Here are some pics that Meghan took while in the air. If you know the area, the houses shown are in “Sun City Lincoln”

It was fun times!

Later, we went to Jacob’s soccer game where they (The Puma’s) won lost :-(

I would LOVE to be able to know about things like this! If you find cool things, send an email or facebook or text so I can try to make it to someof them. If you think about it, that is.
Love you!
