Let’s Go For A Walk

This last Saturday, it was a nice fall day and we decided to go for a little walk… Ok, a little hike.  It had been over a year since we’ve been to a nice hiking area in Auburn called “Hidden Falls”, so we decided to go.

 

 

It’s a very nice park with miles and miles of trails for horses, bikes and of course people.

 

 

 

 

It’s about  a 1 1/2 mile hike to the “Hidden Falls” but it’s a nice easy hike.  Finally, you come around a corner and there are the falls! You certainly don’t expect them to be here – in the middle of the countryside like this. It’s not like this is in the mountains where you would expect it.

Below the falls are some little ponds that the kids loved playing around and in.

I like Hannah’s better..it catches the essence of the falls – almost like you are riding a barrel down the falls!

We had a good time and got out of the house!
