It's been a while since we've been to Six Flags since we didn't get season passes last year (we've had them for the past 3 years). But after a brief hiatus, we decided to get season passes again and the bonus is that they are good for the rest of 2008 and all of 2009 also. The kids have been taking surveys all year long and they each have enough points from their surveys to turn them into cash which pays for their season passes!
Shelley's brother and his wife, Erick and Melisa, came down to visit us for a few days from Utah. We were so excited to have them come! We of course, went to Six Flags while they were here. It was "FrightMares" and everything was all halloweenie. (There are some videos on this post, so may take a few extra minutes to load)
Here is Hannah in front of the fountain that was turned into red water and skeletons in it. She liked it!
Hannah was literally standing up on this ride - see her? She is in the back on the right side.. with a mystery boy in between her and Jacob. Also in these pics are Shelley, Meghan (sitting next to Shelley and hidden), Melisa and Erick, Ashley and Dallin (Erick and Melisa's kids) and Marissa. Can you find them? Doug and Erick could only go on this one once before getting sick. Funny, Doug used to be able to go on this over and over and over.
Hannah and Jacob LOVE the Thrilla Gorilla! Doug can actually do this twice before he's had enough. Hannah and Jacob scream and scream and since it's enclosed, it is very loud in there!
We saw the Shouka show but sat high enough to not get wet!
We didn't see the walrus or sea lion or dolphin or tiger show. We will save those for next time. We did pet the Sting Ray's though.
The kids did like seeing the camels, giraffes, and lions
Meghan and Marissa were laughing and laughing on the Scatta-Bot ride: I lose them a few times while videoing it, but quickly found them again.
Jacob's Favorite ride is the Boomerang. Last year Dad and Marissa made him go on it. He was crying as we got in the train. But afterwards and ever since, he wants to ride it constantly:
This one has the track above you which is normally pretty good, but this one gives you headaches. You need Tylenol after this one:
Medusa is so fast and so smooth! No jerky corners or anything! Very fun and very nice! One of our favorites!
Vertical Velocity is Doug's and Marissa's favorite! Meghan for the first time sat in the front and the back! Normally she stays in the middle but she is growing up now and branching out! Hard to see them in the video, but they are in the front.
We had a great day and were so glad Erick and Melisa were able to be there with us!
Too soon, it was time to go home :-(

Tis the season I suppose. We just went to Six Flags two weeks ago as a family. We don't have Boomarang but we have something called Dejavue. It's the exact same ride, just called by a different name. Looks like you had as much fun as we did. :o)
