We’ve already been to the Fairy Festival, (Remember? Go HERE if you forgot!), so we decided to try Fairy Falls. We actually tried to go there a few weeks ago, but got lost, even with two GPS phones and a crude map. You see, Fairy Falls are in a remote area, where the roads don’t even show up on GPS maps, and when they do, the names on the GPS are different than the names on the map, and the actual road signs have two different names for each road.
This time, we went prepared with multiple maps and we were determined to find it! Oh yeah, and the last 7-8 miles are on a dirt gravel road with no names or signs. The area is actually known as Spenceville, but there isn’t any town there. Or houses. Or cell phone service. Nobody got any text messages during our hike!
We found it this time! Drove right straight to it! These falls aren’t the biggest (only about 6 stories) but they run year round and the hike is a FAIRY (get it? Instead of fairly?) easy 2 mile hike each way.
It was beautiful! Breezy day, not too hot and everything is still green. It was a relaxing hike and the cows even made it more relaxing and we let our stresses get blown away with the breeze!
Hike starts here! Don’t forget your gun so you can shoot out the sign

Leprechaun Leap is near Fairy Falls. Just about 3 miles from Demon's Den. Story tells of a large stash of gold at the bottom of some cliffs. However, the Fairy clan cast a spell to keep it unattainable and hidden from human eyes forever. It is true because no one has ever found it!
