LAST HIT!

A few months ago, we had an Elder in our ward that started this little game he liked to call “Last Hit” and the object was to “hit” your opponent last and then you yell “Last Hit!” and run away before they can hit you back. Kinda like tag.

We played it quite often with them, sometimes texting them “last hit” on their phone, knowing that they couldn’t text back (against the mission rules), and putting 50 “last hit” slips of paper in their scriptures when they left their scriptures at our house, only to come home one day and find all 50 of the “last hit” slips on our garage door!

When they would come over for dinner, we would hide their bikes so they couldn’t get away fast and we could “last hit” them and win. Then they started hiding their bikes at the neighbors……it didn’t take us long to figure that one out and we would snake the hose through their spokes so they couldn’t ride away….we would put “last hit” papers in their helmets, or slyly tape them on their backs at church, and it went on and on.

I finally decided to video a “last hit” so you could see what it was like. This was one of our longest and it spread out into the street and to the neighbors yard!

It was a lot of fun!
