Come For A Visit!

We sent an invite out to "come for a visit" for anyone who wanted to, and Shelley's sister and her family (Don, Shauna, Cassie, Christine, Caleb, Chelsea, Caitlin, & Clarisa Anderson) from Idaho decided to "Come For A Visit" since it was their spring break.

Of course, we took a trip to the  Bay Area and stopped off at Six Flags for a day of fun!  Very low crowds so we got to do everything we wanted to with very little lines, if any.

'Tasmanian Devil' was actually running seen here behind the trees. It spins like a top and swings. Very fun!

Hannah wore her 'tall shoes' (thick tennis shoes) and we decided to see how much she needed to go before she could go on Boomerang and she actually was past the red line!  She had grown since we were here in December!  She was so excited that she finally got to go on her first "upside down ride".  She laughed the whole way!!

Don was loving this ride!  He even let it all go and held his hands up high! "Look at me!" he was yelling!  The other kids were doing the same.

Hannah, Jacob and Clarisa were naughty and had to get in the time out cage.

The bigger kids except Don and Shelley (they stayed back to take photos) took a ride on Voodoo, hoping that Six Flags changed the ride program so it wasn't so lame.....  Nope..they didn't. It is a very short ride and hardly spins around.

We caught a glimpse of an elephant and even got to 'pet' it's nose.  The kids thought it was much rougher than it appeared and were surprised how rough it was.  They were glad their nose wasn't so rough.

We saw lions and tigers and giraffes and and koi and butterflies....BIG butterflies!....

Jacob even got a butterfly to walk on his finger....

'Thrilla Gorilla' never disappoints... Since it's an enclosed ride, the kids like to scream as loud as they can and hear it echo.  Many times, we can hear our kids screaming as we are waiting outside the ride!  We all had fun on this one!  In the video, all that screaming you hear is mostly Hannah! (I had to keep hiding my camera as we passed the ride operator because I wasn't supposed to have my camera out)

Of course we saw Shouka the killer whale...

Hannah ran over to 'Hammerheads' and measured herself and she was tall enough again!  She smiled and smiled and was so happy! Her 2nd upside down ride and she loved it!  Dad was a little afraid that she would slip out the harness, since you actually STOP upside down.....but she held on tight!

One of Doug's favorite rides, Vertical Velocity had no lines at all, and was a quick ride!

Don played the "Hit the thingy really hard with the hammer" game for the first time in his life and WON!!!  He won a Pebble's doll.

He was so proud!

Here are some random photos of everyone:

Caleb was dancing with Bugs

Here we are waiting in pretty much the only line there was in the park because it is a new ride:

We even got our photo with the "Six Flags Guy" - Mr. Six!

We are glad to have shared our park with the Anderson's!

Thanks for coming for a visit!

If anyone else wants to come for a visit, we will gladly do the same with you!

PS: The next day was Sunday, and since we had a lot of time to kill, people were being all weird and doing strange things... Here is an example:
