We revisited an old tradition we started in Eagle Mountain when we had the "all access pass" to the church building. Having FHE in the church gym.
Although we don't have the "all access pass" anymore, we still have a key to the church that gets us in. We can still play around in the gym, but we just can't do things like finding the secret stairs and secret passages in the roof (like we did in Eagle Mountain).
Now we have to settle with things like playing line tag, bouncy ball throwing, basket ball shooting, riding the blanket, and other fun things.
Jacob bought a hovercraft with his birthday money at ToysRUs since it was 50% off at a one day sale Saturday morning. It had to charge up for 5 hours and he couldn't wait to go play it. All charged up, we headed over to the church Saturday night - and there was a wedding reception. So we saved it for Monday FHE. We knew nobody would be in the church then.
Marissa found a megaphone and was practicing her "auctioneering" skills:
We then played "line tag" where you have to play tag, but you have to stay on the lines. You can't drift off them.
We had a good FHE.
