BOO!

So Halloween was on around Oct 31 or something like that.  How could I have forgotten to post about Halloween?  Wow, I really was behind!

The kids were really excited to actually carve punkins this year, as usually we just put them outside uncarved. So much easier and cleaner that way, but not very fun.

So we got those kits that help you create nice punkins and outside in the back we went. 

The were so surprised to see what was actually inside the punkin. Especially Marissa. She thought it was SO GROSS all that stringy stuff. YUK!

After it was all done, I think I heard Marissa say something like, “That was a lot of work!  I think next year I might not do it.”

After tricks and treats, everyone brings their stash home and they “sort” through it..sorting into piles – one for “You can have this cuz I don’t like it that much” and another pile for “Don’t touch these! I want and love these” and then that pile goes into hiding until 8 months later when we find it – all uneaten.
