We found a little known park in town that is hidden behind a bluff. We call it the Slide Park. It is a double slide built long long ago out of cement that you can slide down. It works best with cardboard or something other than just your pants!
It's not a big slide, but it does get going real fast if you have the right "equipment" to slide on. We usually go to Deseret Industries and get platters, big plates, sleds or anything else we can find. Then you have to tuck in your arms, wear long shirts and pants or you will get cement burns on the way down because you go so fast!
